Half Marathon course

The Half Marathon will start and finish in front of the Bradley County Courthouse in downtown Cleveland.

The Cleveland Half Marathon will take participants through 13.1 beautiful miles of Cleveland, TN! Enjoy the great parts of Cleveland that make this town unique, including the downtown business district, Lee University, the Cleveland Greenway, and the historic district!

This is the certified 13.1 mile route. The route will begin on N. Ocoee Street between 2nd and Central Ave, about 50 yards north of the finish line. Please note that the mapmyrun version shows 13.3 miles, but the route is a USATF Certified half marathon distance.

To see the elevation profile, click the small "MENU" text in the top right hand corner of the map and select "See Hills" from the dropdown. An elevation profile will then show at the bottom of the map.

The map below shows a detail of the downtown historic district section of the course. The blue line shows the "outbound" part of the route from miles 2.5-4.6. Runners will turn right onto the greenway at that point. When runners return to downtown, they will turn left off of the greenway onto Willow St and follow the yellow route back to the finish line. There is an aid station located where the "12" is on the map below (on Harle Ave) and runners will pass that aid station at miles 4.5 and 12.

The 5k race course will allow participants to run on some great streets not normally open to the public! Check out the downtown business district on this great 3.1 mile course in downtown Cleveland, finishing alongside the half marathon and earning your medal!

The 5k course follows the half marathon route until mile 2.8. At that point, half marathon runners continue straight on Church and 5k runners turn left on 8th. The 5k course then turns left onto Ocoee and follows Ocoee to the finish at the courthouse.

The 5k course will take runners past the monument as you turn onto Ocoee Street to the finish!
